Andrew Stier is an improv performer and director.

History

Andrew Stier is an Austin improv performer and director. He moved to Austin in 2010 and started improvising with the University of Texas's longest running improv troupe, Gigglepants, becoming their vice captain during the 2013-2014 school year. He started performing at the Hideout Theatre in 2018, graduated through Hideout Theatre's training program in 2019, and directed his first improv show in 2019. He co-founded and directed the improv troupe Butterfly Defect, which won the B. Iden Payne Award for Outstanding New Troupe in 2020.
