Summary

Press Blurb

Their press blurb, taken from a 2012 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:

Buckets of Buckets is the newest Gnap! Theater Projects house improv troupe.

Buckets takes suggestions for a town name and what that town is known for, and uses those to improvise a show following multiple threads featuring absurd and quirky characters in the fictional city.

The pace builds and the show hits a climax as story lines collide.

"What's Your Deal?"

Their answer to the "What's Your Deal?" question on a 2012 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:

Buckets of Buckets does a broadened version of the "Close Quarters" format, loosely based on the television series "League of Gentlemen."

A fictional city is created, where there is a central focus on an event or location.

Relationships of the various characters that populate that town are explored in a series of 4 or 5 scenes, and then the threads begin to weave together around a central event or location, as characters from different scenes begin to meet and interact.

The events all take place over the course of roughly a day in time, and all in the physical space of that city or town.
