Sara Farr is an improv performer and technical improvisor. She is the woman behind the Puppet Improv Project.

History

Sara started performing in 2005 with Wooden Nickel; that same year, she organized The Tuesday Night Jam at The Hideout Theatre. Her first improv-scoring was for Get Up at The 2005 Out of Bounds Comedy Festival. The following year, she started performing with The Leading Brands and regularly scoring Get Up.

In 2009, she founded the Puppet Improv Project, which has since had several show runs, and festival appearances at The Out of Bounds Comedy Festival and the Twin Cities Fest. She began performing with ComedySportz in 2010, but its Austin chapter dissolved in 2012 (she still makes guest appearances in San Antonio).

She's scored many shows at The Hideout Theatre, and in 2013 started teching occasionally for Girls Girls Girls.

Sara also designed the Austin Improv Collective's "kitchen sink" logo.
