From the show announcement:

Six improvisors step into the director's chair as they take turns setting up stories for each other. After each round, the audience will eliminate one of the stories and we'll go on to see the next scene of the surviving stories. Only the strongest, most compelling, most intriguing story will make it to the final round and "The End".
