The Institution Theater presents and teaches both improv and scripted theater. Their improv draws equally from a wide variety of sources.
History
The theater was founded in 2008 by Tom Booker. Classes began in the Velveeta Room, initially with just one class.
In 2013, the Institution hosted the first annual Institution Theater Awards.
In 2014, the Institution expanded into a second space, just across the parking lot, known as The Institution South.
