Summary

Press Blurb

Their press blurb, taken from a 2012 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:

Coming down from Plano, Texas, Youth Group Improv is a group of high school youth group students that recently took classes in improv with their leader, Pastor John.

We start all of our shows with a prayer, take a suggestion of a book and verse of the bible, run scenes, and end the show with an acoustic sing-a-long.

"What's Your Deal?"

Their answer to the "What's Your Deal?" question on a 2012 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:

We are similar to a DCM late night show - we perform as if we were high school improvisers from a wealthy suburban, Christian neighborhood.

We are absolutely not out to make fun of Christians or their beliefs, but we just perform as them.

We've had 4 shows so far, and all have gone extremely well.

While we have more than 12 people on our roster, we only bring a max of 12 to any show.

We run a fast paced, energetic montage and never break character as our youth group members.

We even dress the part too.
