[edit] Summary

[edit] Press Blurb

Their press blurb, taken from a 2011 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:
Playback Theatre is improvisational theatre in which a conductor (think electricity) gathers feelings, impressions and stories from the audience and the troupe enacts them using a variety of forms and music. The results are often funny and moving at the same time, as the troupe honors and gives voice to the moments in daily life. Austin Playback Theatre is in its second year of performing here in Austin. Members Dustin and Katrina Parks and Paige Dearman all trained at the Center for Playback Therapy last summer, completing the level one Core Training.

[edit] "What's Your Deal?"

Their answer to the "What's Your Deal?" question on a 2011 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:
We elicit stories from the audience an enact them on the spot(with music.)
