Quayle

Years Active 2010-2011, 2014-
Cast

Quayle started as a duo between Kyle Traughber and Quinn Buckner with an aimless goal of just having fun. They did 2-3 shows before seeing Katie Dahm at a Merlin Works Mixer and asking her to join. Once Katie joined Quayle developed a narrative format that drew inspiration from cartoon Adventure Time. After a year Katie moved to Philadelphia and the then duo finished out its last few shows before calling it quits. Katie moved back to Austin in 2013 and after several months they conspired to get the troupe back together having their first rehearsal in 3 years. They are now rehearsing regularly and submitting for shows across town.

  • What Do We Do?

"Quayle will be doing a loose interpretation of a Harold with the emphasis on having fun in each moment and less on the given structure."

  • Who are we? Long Version

"Quayle is the joining of Kyle Traughber, Katie Dahm, and Quinn Buckner with the main mission of supporting each other while getting a little goofy in the mean time. Originally a duo between Kyle and Quinn, Quayle saw the addition of Katie and with it the trifecta was complete. You can catch Quayle rock climbing, lounging around listening to Savage Garden or having tickle fights."

  • Who are we and What Do We Do?

"Quayle is the joining of Kyle Traughber, Katie Dahm, and Quinn Buckner with the main mission of supporting each other while getting a little goofy in the mean time. Currently Quayle does a loose interpretation of a Harold with the emphasis on fun for your maximum enjoyment. Check them out if you want to see Katie be cute as a button, Kyle goofier than Goofy himself and Quinn get tickled till he cries. There might be some improv too..."
