Off the Reef was an improvised puppet show.
Summary
This show expanded on the "black-light puppetry" that PIP first explored in Puppet Katamari. For most of the show, the stage was lit only with blacklight. The underwater-themed puppets and props were made of fabric that glowed brightly under the black lights. The puppeteers themselves all wore black, and so they seemed to disappear under that lighting.
The first half of the show included a number of short-form improv games. Then, after a brief intermission, the cast performed an undersea narrative for the second half.
History
The show's run included the following dates: 11/2/12, 11/3/12, 11/9/12, and 11/10/12.
