Cynthia Oelkers first performed improvisation in 1999 with ComedySportz Austin where she learned important life skills such as improvising with her head underwater, talking with a mouth-full of banana, creating modern dances inspired from everyday objects, and giving clues in mime and gibberish. Prior to GGG, she’s played with long-form troupes Wooden Nickel and Whirled News Tonight Austin. In 2015, she was frequently a suspect in the Agatha-Christie-inspired show Scene of the Crime at the Hideout theater.

Today, Cynthia loves performing with Girls Girls Girls because it is the closest she will ever get to being in a band … an all-girl band without the bus travel, drugs, and cheap hotel rooms.
