The Merlin Works Institute for Improvisation is the improv production and teaching company run by Shana Merlin. The company was founded in 2003, adopting its current name in 2008.

Merlin Works was based at Salvage Vanguard Theater and closely affiliated with Gnap! Theater Projects until 2012, when it moved operations to the ZACH Theatre.
