A band of international misfits sets out to save the world.
They are held to no rules or laws ...except those by the the Gods aka the audience.
At their whim, the Gods change the characters and the plot via the Trunk and the Box.
At the ring of the Gods' bell, the misfits must choose an item from the Trunk or the Box which changes who they are and what the heck they are trying to do.
With the wrath of the Gods, egos, tragic love affairs, high tea and of course, villains, can the misfits make the world a better place?
Come find out!
Inspired by graphic novels Doom Patrol and Invisibles by Grant Morrison.
"What's Your Deal?"
Their answer to the "What's Your Deal?" question on a 2011 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:
We have a Trunk and a Box on either side of stage.
Trunk has clothing/accessories, and Box has props.
Scenes are played straight until audience rings the Gods' bell and orders the player(s) to pick an item from either the Trunk or the Box or both.
Trunk item changes the characteristic of the character, while Box item changes the plot/objective of the scene.
The scene is immediately continued with those endowments.
It's a dress-up jump and justify where audience play the role of The Gods.
History
The troupe played a few times at ColdTowne before disbanding.
