Summary
ChuTopp is the improv power duo of Topping Haggerty and Chuy Zarate that began its powerful existence in 2013. They embrace the awkward truth about their very flawed, but focused, characters. ChuTopp's first format, The End of the World, had not so worldly, not so knowledgeable, amazingly innocuous characters saving the world from kitten-apocalypses, to the world-wide loss of cell phones, to a plague of ants. Currently, ChuTopp's format is The Heist, where all the plans are bad but all the intentions are good.
History
ChuTopp performs at The Hideout Theatre, The Institution Theater, and Coldtowne Theater. ChuTopp was also in Frontera Fest Short Fringe in 2014, 2015, and 2017. In 2016, ChuTopp performed at DuoFest in Philadelphia, and at the Big Sexy Comedy Festival in Dallas.
