Bunch of Liars was an improv troupe.

Summary

Press Blurb

Their press blurb, taken from their facebook page:

We are an improv troupe from Austin, TX. A Bunch Of Liars was formed when the Polite Society was dismembered, leaving only the heart. That heart had several music side projects including Fully Mammoth and Yul Brenner, but then delved back into improv with a new body comprised of ragtag individuals who called themselves Foam Party Fuck Fest. After some rehearsals and a metamorphosis from crass to fabulous, and wanting to perform in public again, the troupe changed its name to Elephants, Gerald. And after performing under that name for almost a year and a metamorphosis from fabulous to rich and famous, the troupe rebranded themselves again with a new name, more original and close to home. We became A Bunch Of Liars. We love performing elaborate lies in front of large crowds, and making people laugh and cry with songs, monologues, and scenes in our famous Musical Armando format which we invented. Another format we invented that's really amazing is Theraprov, therapy-based improv, which is always hosted by Werner Herzog, who tends to fly in for the occasion.
