The New Movement is a family of comedy theaters and training centers in Texas and Louisiana focusing on long form improv and sketch comedy writing.

The original Austin theater opened for classes in February 2009 and began running shows on January 13th 2010.
On March 3rd 2012, a second theater space opened in New Orleans, Louisiana. Trew and Nelson moved back to New Orleans shortly afterwards.
