Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom isn't just a long name for an improv/sketch troupe, it's also the long name for Austin's NEWEST improv/sketch troupe! Seamlessly blending well-groomed off-the-cuff bantering with surprise attacks of orchestrated absurdity, Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom seeks only to cultivate and harvest your all-natural, plentiful reserves of organic, cage-free laughter.

Their answer to the "What's Your Deal?" question on a 2011 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:

The show itself has a unique, invigorating feel, somewhere between sketch and improv, with the flow almost of standup.

This results from our patented Britt-Meyers method in which we utilize improvised scenes and conversations as a bridge between prepared sketches.

In this regard, although we have a set list, more or less, of the sketches we intend to perform, we have an open and improvised roadmap as to how to get from one sketch to the next, injecting the electricity of improv into the sophistication and subtly of a sketch show.

Also, the project is dedicated purely to the pursuit of comedy, and nothing more.
