Adriane Shown (Actor / Artist / eBay Goddess) has been on stage & behind the scenes in several of Austin’s theatres in scripted & improvisational works. Among the productions are “The Cherry Bowl” (silent clown adaptation of The Cherry Orchard) “Mr Marmalade”, “Bad Girls in Plaid Skirts”, “Cafe at the End of Time”, “The Vagina Monologues” & solo performance, “Fire & Ash”. Creator, Director & host Gentress Helena Back of “Hell & Back Cabaret” featuring her improv troupe of rotating guests, “The Dark Sparkles” & her burlesque persona, Sugarbabe Goodhue. Recently on screen in “Summer League” & “The Man from Orlando”. Costume & set designer, wardrobe & prop mistress, are some other hats she has worn for several film & stage productions, among them are the B Iden Payne awarded “The Suitcase” & “Dead White Males”. She can be seen in upcoming productions of “The Vagina Monologues” at ND; “Hurly Burly”, an improvised play, set in the 1930’s, behind the scenes of a burlesque show.
