DJ Danger Dad
DJ Danger Dad was an improv troupe.
Their press blurb, taken from a 2011 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:
DJ Danger Dad is a group of patriphilic improvisers who take audiences for a ride in narratively based sets that follow the journeys of three core characters. A house troupe from the New Movement Theater, the trio loves to play with fanciful environment and existential crises. They all unabashedly love their dads very, very much.
"What's Your Deal?"
Their answer to the "What's Your Deal?" question on a 2011 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:
We creatively follow the paths of three characters who go on a journey through each set, which often takes the form of a journey or cutaway scenes that broaden the scope of who each character is. We love to play with business, paternal, and relational themes. Often times, we'll have four characters on stage, taking turns playing each one to add depth to him or her. We feel that, as improvisers, we are granted the liberty to push our environments to the extreme, and as such often find ourselves in very fantastical situations.
