Party Court consists of Henry Linser, John Gross, and Aaron Walther. They joined having never performed together in the annual March Madness Monster tournament put on by The New Movement Theater and ended up emerging victorious among the seven other groups that were formed. They knew they had to continue performing together.

Their answer to the "What's Your Deal?" question on a 2011 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:
We don't have a unique form. We don't have any gimmicks. We do montages and we do them well. By carefully bringing back information, aggressively clinging to patterns, and creatively playing with our environments, we ensure an energetic ride for the audience that will end in a surprisingly satisfying place. On paper this admittedly does not look prestigious, but we hope that the video we have submitted gets this point across.
