Made up of current Institution Theater students and alums, Church Potluck is a physical, mad-cap improv troupe whose high-octane scenes and experienced, fearless performers promise a belly-shaking good time.

Not for the faint of heart or those who are easily offended. Church Potluck prides itself on its physicality; we like to keep the audience visually engaged by using the whole stage and sometimes the whole theatre to make the experience theatrical.

"What's Your Deal?"

Their answer to the "What's Your Deal?" question on a 2011 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:

We will be doing a montage with callbacks, tag outs, and messing with each other. Church Potluck prides itself on its physicality; we like to keep the audience visually engaged by using the whole stage and sometimes the whole theatre to make the experience theatrical.

We use found objects as props and take inspiration from "clues" given to us by the audience.
