Rise & Shine was an improvised morning talk show parody of Regis & Kelly and regional/local morning talk shows. Each episode took place in real time as if it were being recorded (a monoscene).
The cast played the same characters every time & invited a guest player to improvise a fictional celebrity.
Cast & Roles
- Valerie Ward as Lorelei Reiser, one of the hosts.
- Curtis Luciani as Elmo Shein, one of the hosts.
- Jon Bolden as J. Robert Sturrier, their producer.
History
Rise & Shine started in January, 2009 and stopped performing sometime in late 2010.
The first performance was a Cagematch show and happened on Saturday, March 7th, 2009 at ColdTowne Theater. It featured John Ratliff as the guest celebrity.
