Summary
Press Blurb
Their press blurb, taken from a 2011 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:
Etiquette Club improvises modern comedies of manners, based on the the outdated etiquette rules of traditional polite society. Each 25 minute story explores what goes wrong when we both maintain and abandon socially acceptable behavior.
"What's Your Deal?"
Their answer to the "What's Your Deal?" question on a 2011 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:
We tell 25 minute stories that satirize the old rules of "polite society".
Each show begins by turning to a random page in our Big Book of Manners (literally an authentic, old fashioned, conservative book of manners) to provide us with instruction on appropriate social behavior for a traditional setting. These outlandish and outdated rules are then applied to a modern setting, and inspire an improvised 25 minute comedy.
