Epic Telescope is a longform show.
Format
There's an improv game called "Half Life", in which the cast performs (say) a two-minute scene, then re-runs it thirty seconds, then fifteen seconds, then perhaps seven seconds.
Epic Telescope reverses and expands this game. The cast performs (say) a one-minute scene, then stretches it out the same material to three minutes, seven minutes, then perhaps fifteen minutes.
History
The show began as a one-off for the premiere of The Free Fringe on 4/26/12.
It was part of The 44-Hour Improv Marathon.
