Summary
Press Blurb
Their press blurb, taken from a 2013 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:
Safety Word, presents OKCupid. Rooted in every great relationship is the internet profile that started it. We'll start by reading a dating profile of the audience's choice, and what follows will be a montage of character based scenes exploring the awkwardness of new relationships, the sorrow of leaving relationships, and sexual energy of connection.
"What's Your Deal?"
Their answer to the "What's Your Deal?" question on a 2013 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:
Welcome to Safety Word presents OKCupid. Behind every great relationship is the internet dating profile that started it. This amazing two person improv team will read the audience selected OKCupid dating profile, and then improvise relationship based scenes exploring the awkwardness of the first date, the pain of the breakup, and unfiltered comfort of long term relationships. Because just like posting all the facets of your personality on the internet, how could this go wrong?
Safety Word presents OKCupid is a two person improv experience beginning by reading a real online dating profile of the audiences choice. The show will follow relationship based scenes from all stages of relationship, through all walks of life.
