Gloria Rabil Bankler is an improv performer who works primarily with The Hideout Theatre.
History
Gloria is a founding member of both Furiously Missing and In Our Prime.
She has also produced segments based on the concept of fear, called What Are You Afraid Of? for The Free Fringe at The Hideout Theatre.
Gloria studied theater in college at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In the summer of 2010 her sister-in-law, Faye Bankler Casell talked her into taking classes at the Hideout Theatre after attending a show, Gloria’s son, Quinn Rabil Bankler had there. Gloria started classes at the Hideout shortly after in a level one class with Valerie Ward. She took classes through level four with Andy Crouch, the Hideout Education Director. Gloria has performed at The NYC Improv Festival, The Oklahoma Improv Festival, The Improvised Play Festival, Wafflefest, Out of Bounds and Improvaganza Hawaii with In Our Prime. She has also performed at The Improvised Play Festival, Wafflefest and Out of bounds with Furiously Missing.
