The Dancy Street D'Orchestra was a narrative musical improv troupe that formed from students of Shana Merlin's first improvised-singing classes.
Summary
The troupe included musicians David Rosenbaum (on guitar) and Chelsea Gilman (on drums).
History
The troupe was founded in 2010 by Susannah Raulino and Amy Averett, and disbanded after their Out of Bounds performance in 2011.
After the troupe was dissolved, Susannah Raulino, Topping Haggerty, and David Rosenbaum would go on to found the musical trio Da Foundry.
Amy Averett would go on to join Girls Girls Girls.
