"What's Your Deal?"
Their answer to the "What's Your Deal?" question on a 2013 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:
We get an adjective from the audience like "glossy," (just made that up) then we get a location, like "railroad car," then we get a noun like "pillow." Okay, the band name is "glossy pillow" and we're in a railroad car. Then we do a narrative all the way through with characters influenced by our band name. First, the tech will choose a song for us to jam to for about 30 seconds and we mime the instruments while morphing into our characters. The tech has full license to choose any song he or she wants. They could even choose it before we take the stage. It can be random, or a reaction to the band name the audience gave us. It doesn't matter to us because we will also be influenced by it in our character choices.
