Summary

Press Blurb

Their press blurb, taken from a 2010 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:

Jason Vines and Justin Davis bring characters they originally created during an Apocalypse show at the Salvage Vanguard Theater to a troupe of their own. Toothpick & Ted are a gay couple in a long-lasting relationship, minus any lame cliches or stereotypes different types of media often associate with gay couples. Toothpick is commanding and decisive in public, but neurotic and paranoid in private. Ted is full of bravado and aggressive in public, but comforting and sweet in private. It's the natural yin and yang associated with most loving couples. Almost always, at least one of them works in security or law enforcement of some type as a connecting thread to the play that inspired these characters. Together, they navigate the world with love, tenderness, and ass kicking.

"What's Your Deal?"
