Cochise is a student mainstage show at The Hideout Theatre based on late-70s cop shows. It was originally produced and performed by Improv for Evil.

Summary

In each episode, two characters were pre-determined: "Cochise", a renegade cop, and his beleaguered police sergeant. Everyone else played whatever characters were needed on the day. Each performance introduced a villain committing some sort of crime, and showed Cochise gradually closing in on and defeating the villain.

History

The name "Cochise" is a reference to a character in the Beastie Boys video "Sabotage", which traffics in the same genre as the improv show.
