Start Trekkin' was an improvised longform narrative show inspired by the original Star Trek television series.

History

Start Trekkin' was one of the first mainstage shows at The Hideout Theater, and one of the first "improvised <blank>" formats in Austin. It had six mainstage runs, and a performance at a Las Vegas Star Trek convention, before running as half of The Sci-Fi Comedy Double Feature in early 2011.

Casts

The casts of run #1 and of runs #3-#6 are unknown at this time.

David Lampe is the only improvisor to appear in all seven runs of the show.
