The Double Barrel (formerly The Twofer and The Style Show) was a performance slot at The Hideout Theatre.
Summary
The Double Barrel played every Friday at 10pm at The Hideout Theatre.
As the name implies, it was a double bill, with two improv acts.
Each slot typically lasted about forty minutes.
History
The Double Barrel originated as an Austin Improv Collective-branded show in 2005.
Later, the show was taken over by The Hideout, which had always hosted the event.
Finally, in September of 2010, the show was replaced by The Wheel.
