Mister Morbid's Moonlight Movie Mayhem Madness Massacre is an improv show.
Summary
In the world of the show, Tom Booker plays Mister Morbid, a quaint small-town mortician who hosts a "fright night" where he plays old B-horror movies. (Thedward Blevins plays his sidekick, Montgomery.) But technical difficulties prevent him from playing the movie successfully, and he has to call on friends to re-create the movie for him.
In practical terms, the host presents a short segment or trailer of a 70s horror film, and then an improv troupe uses that segment as the inspiration for an improvised narrative. Then the host presents a second segment/trailer, and the second visiting troupe improvises off of that.
