We did this for our first show, and it was awesome, but later we took out the merit badge stuff and just had fun with the idea of going on new pre-teen "adventures" together, like a Jesus Camp, a Christian Rock Concert, etc. Also, we thought it was fun that "squad" was in our name and there is only ever 2 of us. </blockquote>

Adventure Squad! is an improv duo in which Kaci Beeler and Valerie Ward play two pre-teens ("Tabitha Martinez" and "Emily Neidermeyer-Smith-McBaker") who go on adventures.

History

The two performers developed the format for The 2008 Ladies Are Funny Festival.

In the original concept, Kaci and Val played two 11-year-old girls who, having been denied entry into the Girl Scouts, buy a manual for a scout league called "Adventure Squads" on the Internet. When the manual turns out to be just couple of sheets of paper with strange Merit Badges scrawled on them, the girls decide to earn all of the merit badges, by interpreting what they might mean in each episode.
