TheatreSports (mainstage run) refers to the May 2013 Mainstage run of the traditional 'improv contest' format from Keith Johnstone.

Summary

TheatreSports is an improv show in which two teams of improvisors challenge each other to a series of shortform games.

A group of judges award points, set special 'judges' challenges', and cut short scenes that are boring.

In this run, the show will open with a 15-minute "exhibition match", featuring teams organized around some kind of theme. This will be followed by two matches involving teams drawn from the show's cast. The show will run in the downstairs theater.
