Scout was an improv troupe.

Summary

Press Blurb

Their press blurb, taken from a 2011 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:

Scout is an improv troupe made up of graduates from ColdTowne theater. They are one of the only troupes in Austin currently preforming the harold; a classic Chicago improvisational structure. Scout performs a show where the form and shape of their show is discovered on the fly.

"What's Your Deal?"

Their answer to the "What's Your Deal?" question on a 2011 application to perform at The Hideout Theatre:

We perform our version of the harold. Some refer to this as a "modern" harold...specifically, it is a show where everything that happens is built off of what has come before, and typically patterns emerge which give the show shape.
