Brently Heilbron is an improv performer, director, teacher, and musician.

History

He has been performing improv and stand-up since the age of 15. At 17, he joined the original Austin improv troupes Monks Night Out and Only 90% Effective. At 20, he won the very first Maestro in Austin. Since then, he has toured as a stand-up, emceed for Paul McCartney, Dr. John, and the Mighty Boosh and has worked with notables like Woody Allen, George Takei, Daniel Johnston, and Dolemite in his long, strange trip of a career. He returned to Austin in 2010 and began teaching "Stand-Up for Improvisers" at The Institution Theater. He has written all three sold-out Fuck It's Hot shows. The upcoming run of Fuck It's Hot ("Sex & Queso") will be the first show he's written and directed for the Institution.

He guested with Girls Girls Girls during their Boys of Summer run in 2013.
