Stone Airplane was cast from one of the Merlin Works Mixers and performed improv inspired by the works of Shel Silverstein. At each show, an audience member selected a random Shel Silverstein poem (brought in by the cast). The poem was read aloud, and then players identified 3-5 "facts" about the world in which that poem existed. The players then engage in a montage set in this world.

Stone Airplane completed a run of shows at Salvage Vanguard Theater in the summer of 2012.
