Rock was an improvised longform narrative show inspired by rock operas. All dialog was sung, and punctuated by rock'n'roll musical numbers. Musician Michael Brockman improvised accompaniment using two keyboards, a drum machine, and an electric guitar.
Rock was a mainstage show at The Hideout Theatre.
