Fakespeare is the current mainstage show at The Hideout Theatre. It is a slight variation on previous runs of Improvised Shakespeare.
Summary
Fakespeare includes a scripted show run in July, in which Much Ado About Nothing and Macbeth are presented in repertory, and then an improvised run in August, which will vary from the traditional "improvise a play" format of Improvised Shakespeare, borrowing elements from previous Hideout shows such as Process, Live Nude Improv, and Fandom. The same fifteen performers will put on Much Ado About Nothing, Macbeth, and the improvised run.
Jordan T. Maxwell is directing Macbeth. Andy Crouch is directing Much Ado About Nothing and the improvised run, as well as managing the overall production.
