In this bold new project, The Hideout Theatre is partnering with improv theatre companies around the world to create a cross-continental blend of video, improv, and theatrical collaboration.
Each performance contains two acts.  The first act has the cast responding to video short-form challenges that have been sent in from improv troupes around the world.  The second act is a long-form narrative that uses the first act as inspiration.
 
The set design includes a number of carboard boxes (and other shapes), which the cast uses to create international landmarks and locales on the fly.

The International Improv Experience is an upcoming mainstage show at The Hideout Theatre that will draw inspiration from friends of the Hideout around the world.

Summary

Each performance contains two acts. The first act has the cast responding to video short-form challenges that have been sent in from improv troupes around the world. The second act is a long-form narrative that uses the first act as inspiration.

The set design includes a number of carboard boxes (and other shapes), which the cast uses to create international landmarks and locales on the fly.
