History

A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Hawkins moved to Austin in 1999. He became interested in improv after watching a Confidence Men show in mid-2010. He has taken classes at The Hideout Theatre and The Institution Theater. He took his first improv class on June 19, 2010, and performed in his first show on September 17, 2010. After attending the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in 2010, he co-founded Three Hot Chicks. Since then, he has been a member of the troupes The Walk-Ons, Franz & Dave, Who Dack?, Epic, ¡ZARZAMORA!, and Your Dad's Friends, and was a founding member of Goat. In 2014 he directed his first mainstage show, Trust No One, followed by You Can't Stay Here the following year.
